Dates

This Forklift Course covers the required knowledge & skills for the safe operation of a Forklift and is required for participants to complete if applying for their High Risk Licence (Class Type: LF) from WorkSafe Victoria.

 

BEGINNER COURSE (3 days):

Monday 28th August + Tuesday 29th August + Monday 4th September 2017

OR

Thursday 7th September + Thursday 14th September + Friday 15th September 2017

 

EXPERIENCED COURSE (2 days):

Monday 28th August + Monday 4th September 2017

OR

(1-on-1 training = shorter course = $400 per day)

Requirements

High Risk Licence Requirements:

  • Candidates must be 18 years or over to apply for a High Risk Licence
  • Worksafe Victoria requires all candidates to be able to read, write & understand English, if sitting for a High Risk Licence
  • Candidates have to have 100 points if ID and an Australian residential address to obtain a High Risk Licence

 

Course Requirements:

  • Participants must be competent in written and spoken English (Students are required to undertake a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy test prior to commencing the training)
  • Participants must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
  • Participants are recommended to hold their Construction Induction OHS (White Card), if operating machinery
  • Participants are required to wear sensible work clothes and steel capped boots, and dress according to the weather for their training
  • Participants are required to bring appropriate sun safety protection

 

Please note the applicant has to have 100 points of ID and Victorian address to obtain a High Risk Work licence.
